Robin Robert Frost Sr., 61

Robin Robert Frost Sr., a 61-year-old Black man, was fatally stabbed Friday, Aug. 7, in the 1700 block of West 150th Street in Gardena, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

About 1:45 a.m., officers from the Gardena Police Department responded to a disturbance at a home, according to a news release from the department.

Officers arrived and found Frost in his bed with several puncture wounds to his chest and face. Frost was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police believe his 24-year-old son, Robin Robert Frost Jr., stabbed his father while he was asleep. 

Robin Robert Frost Jr. has been charged with one count of murder, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
