Romaine Fraus Breda, 23

Romaine Fraus Breda, a 23-year-old black man, was fatally stabbed Sunday, Sept. 15, near Hollywood Boulevard and Whitley Avenue, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Los Angeles police received a call about 2:30 a.m. reporting a fight at the location, said Officer Cleon Joseph.

When police arrived, they found Breda with stab wounds. Breda was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:32 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Witnesses did not cooperate with police, and no suspect is in custody, according to coroner’s records.

According to his California identification, Breda lived at a halfway house called My Friend’s Place about a mile from where he was stabbed.
