Christopher Jacobs, a 16-year-old black male, died Sunday, July 6, after being shot in Vermont Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Marc Anthony Hood, a 18-year-old black male, died Sunday, July 6, after being shot in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Alta Mae Mackey, a 72-year-old black female, died Sunday, July 6, after sustaining blunt force trauma in Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Colin Christopher Bunting, a 42-year-old black male, died Sunday, July 6, after being shot in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Edourd Caprice Peters, a 20-year-old black male, died Sunday, July 6, after being shot in Hyde Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Desmond L. Boykins, a 20-year-old black male, died Saturday, July 5, after being shot in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Oliva Gallup, a 50-year-old Latina, was fatally shot July 3, 2003, in the 400 block of Marine Place in Manhattan Beach, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

On the day of the killing, Manhattan Beach police found Gallup dead in her home after she was shot three times by her husband, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. 

On April 6, 2016, a jury found Bill Lawrence Gallup, 68,  guilty of first-degree murder. He was also sentenced to 50 years to life in state prison three weeks later. 

During the trial, prosecutors said Oliva Gallup arrived at house with her sister after running some errands and found Bill Gallup playing music loudly. She asked her husband to turn down the music, and an argument began, according to evidence presented at trial. 

The argument ended when Bill Gallup shot his wife three times, killing her, prosecutors said. …

London Joseph Hooker, a 19-year-old black male, died Saturday, July 5, after being shot in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Jaime Antonio Diaz, a 29-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, July 5, after being shot in Pasadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Sheldon Maurice Watson, a 41-year-old black male, died Saturday, July 5.

Abram Ajani Holts, a 18-year-old black male, died Saturday, July 5, after being shot in View Park-Windsor Hills, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Cornelius Anthony Taylor, a 21-year-old black male, died Saturday, July 5, after being shot in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
