Ellorah Rose Warner, a three-week old girl, was found dead Saturday, Jan. 24, in the 20600 block of Newhall Avenue in Santa Clarita, according to law enforcement.
A couple walked into the Santa Clarita sheriff’s station Jan. 23 about 9:30 p.m. to report that their infant daughter was missing. Deputies from three stations set out on an all-night search with helicopters, dogs and the help of neighbors. They held the couple overnight for questioning and searched their apartment, authorities said.
About 7 a.m., the child’s father, Matthew Warner, 30, led deputies to a small, blue-gray truck parked outside an apartment complex in the 23600 block of Newhall Avenue about half a mile from the family’s home.
The baby was found dead in the front cab, said Lt. Holly Francisco of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Anthony Lee Wilson, a 2-year-old white child, died Sunday, Oct. 5, after he was beaten in the 37900 block of 26th Street East in Palmdale, according to L.A. County coroner and district attorney records.
Anthony lived with his mother, Rosie Lee Wilson, and her boyfriend in Palmdale and was taken to a hospital Aug. 21. According to prosecutors, Anthony suffered “great bodily injury” from June to August. The child remained in critical condition until he died Oct. 5.

On the day of Brihanna's death, Charissa Ranee Bailey, the girl's mother, received a week’s supply of methadone from a clinic and was instructed to keep the drug in a locked container away from children, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Angel Berrios, a 1-year-old white boy, was shot and killed Thursday, April 8, in the 800 block of South Sierra Vista Avenue in Alhambra, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Police officers received a call of a possible suicide at a home about 4:30 a.m. When officers arrived at the location, they found three bodies, Alhambra police Lt. Edith Lopez said.
Inside they discovered a 25-year-old man, later identified as Angel Berrios Jr., fatally shot, along with Natasha Cobian, 23, and the couple’s infant son, Angel Joseph Berrios.
Alhambra police said that, based on the crime scene, they believe the deaths were the result of a double-murder suicide, with the man shooting the baby and Cobian, then taking his own life.
Lopez said several other family members were inside the four-bedroom house at the time of the shooting, but they were unharmed. They alerted authorities to the shooting.
