Joint task force solves South L.A. homicides

In July, the FBI joined forces with the LAPD's criminal gang homicide unit for a three-month operation called Save Our Streets. The goal was to clear a backlog of unsolved gang killings in LAPD's South Bureau. In all, the task force reported solving 32 homicides, resulting in 168 related arrests. Below is a list of cases reported by the coroner to The Times' Homicide Report.
